Tweetbot 5 for Twitter App Reviews

Fantastic Twitter client. Much more customizable and enjoyable to use than Twitters own app.

Keeps getting better and better with each update. Wish reordering timeline filters was possible (and also wish they synced with iCloud, but I dont know if that is possible at the moment). Verified filter is an added bonus (and something I have requested a few times). I think it should be included as a default filter at the top rather than having to add it in. Keep it up, Tapbots! Cant wait to see whats next! :)

When I use Twitter I want to read every tweet. I use timeline sync so when I move between devices it keeps my place and I can catch up on what I have missed. A few weeks ago during an announcement event I realized that I had seen absolutely zero tweets about a product that was announced. I thought this was odd and so I went back and checked and what I found was that there were tweets, they had just never shown up in Tweetbot. I installed a different Twitter app and was able to see them in my timeline. So I opened both apps in Split View on the iPad and went through both timelines side by side checking every tweet. What I found was that Tweetbot kept missing tweets that the other app did not. It wasnt just isolated to this event either, I tested both apps during various other times and found that Tweetbot consistently was dropping tweets, not a lot, but any missing tweets are too much for me. I love Tweetbot and have been using it for years but I have had to uninstall it because if the one purpose of the product is to show you a timeline of every tweet and some of those tweets are missing, thats completely unacceptable.

Its only a little bit sad that we dont get features like polls and stickers. But only a little.

This is the best app for twitter. They offer great updates regularly and theyre always polished and useful. Worth every penny.

Far better than the official Twitter app. Great for users of multiple Apple devices (iPhone + Mac, for example) as it jumps to the tweet you last read instead of the newest tweet on your timeline. Also, it doesnt display promoted tweets, suggestions, or other stupid crap that Twitter thinks people want.

This is well worth your money to upgrade if you havent already from a previous version. If yo havent bought this app yet, I would have paid more. Im glad they were able to implement the latest extended tweet length features so quickly.

Every time I open the app it never goes to most recent tweets. Fix this already or give us an option

Best app to use Twitter on iOS. Lose stars because: - No photo description for accessibility (extremely disappointed) - No Polls - No Twitter Activity (followers) - No fixed tweet on profile - Because new Collections feature there isnt a easy way to see if any draft exist. Now you must need to touch on the button to discover. Before you only need to look if exist any icon on bottom.

Every time I try to set my location, the app crashes

Thanks for the quick update. Mute filters are not syncing between devices, though. Everything syncs except for the mute filters.

Twitter just announced the changes to the 140 character limit and the Tweetbot team has an update out. I have a few 3rd party apps and Tweetbot is the first to roll out an update. Phenomenal user support! Thanks to everyone at the Tapbots crew. You guys are the best.

Ive been using Tweetbot since it was first released in 2010. Its by far the best Twitter app available. This update is great. Being able to use 3D Touch within reply threads and basically everywhere is what I always wanted. The filters feature is a nice touch, though I wish I didnt have to be at the top of a timeline in order to configure it.

Looks fantastic, works flawlessly, and its universal for your iPad, too! If you yearn for the things that really make Twitter great, and none of the lame cruft that keeps getting added to the official app, Tweetbot is for you.

The new updates is supposed to support the link/media limit exclusion feature but it doesnt seem to work. Some QA would be nice before rushing to get a release out. TweetMarker is unreliable with a single account, and totally doesnt work with multiple accounts. iCloud syncing doesnt work because it requires CloudKit which is only available on El Crapitan. At this point tweet syncing isnt a feature that actually works at all.

One small thing: the activity bar thing on the side of the screen on the iPad Pro (though not the activity tab) sometimes doesnt update.
