So much better than the native Twitter app.
So much better than the native Twitter app.
The last update for some reason is showing duplicate tweets randomly. I thought maybe it was certain profiles but its not. Not sure why this is happening but its very random. I bought every version of Tweetbot and was hesitant at first to shell out again as the cost is higher this time around. However seeing it allows ads to be blocked via content blocking with Safari as the browser it was an added bonus. Not only that but supporting the developers! Great app!
Awesome app but battery drainer even with notifications off.
Im so mad that I paid for this app. They never update it. They never used to do this on tweet bot 3. Im fed up.
I got this version for the stats feature and it seems nice. But the new fonts and redesign are, to my eye, uglier and less easy to read. It looks unfinished. I may keep this version just for checking stats once in a while and use v3 for reading and writing tweets. Rather disappointing.
Tweetbot 4 destroys Tweetbot 3 in terms of speed. I dont know what wizardry Paul did this time, but it is very nice. The Stats/Activity tab is probably the coolest thing I have seen in any Twitter client. I had absolutely no qualms about paying for the upgrade. The value is there in my opinion. Also no one wants to work for free, paying for full on upgrades helps ensure well keep getting worthwhile minor updates. Thanks Tapbots <3
A great update to the app I use more than any other. Makes using Tweetbot on the iPad Pro so much better than it already was
The app is generally good, clean and easy to use. There are some really handy features that give it a one up on the stock Twitter app. Despite this, there are a couple of core Twitter features that are strangely absent from this app. One, tweet notifications. The app gives you no option to receive notifications from followers you want to hear from most. Secondly, there is no integration with moments. Twitter Moments has been out since fall, and has become a staple of the stock app. It would be five stars if these two things were added.
Difficult to understand that a company with a few developers can make an Twitter app that is not only excellent, but in every way superior to Twitter’s own native app. Excellent.
Optimized for speed and ease of use. Reading is a pleasure.
This app is the best Twitter client that Marco does not make, being he does not make a Twitter client, this is the best Twitter client. It would be nice to see Twitter metrics in the app. If only Marco made one.
Would gladly pay $10 a year forever for a Twitter app this good. Anyone complaining about the price should just use the official Twitter app if they don’t think this app is worth the cash.
An unspeakably good improvement over Twitters official app. Fast, clean, wonderfully laid out. Its as if the authors designed it with the users experience as their top priority.
It is so solid in every aspect bit still maintains a small footprint. Full functionality in this client allows you to do everything that Twitter allows and more. After using tweetbot youll never use the stock app again.
Still the best Twitter experience on the iPhone.
Ive used this app for about a month now and I can say I like it for the most part. Having tried some other clients like Twitterrific, Hootsuite, and Twitters own app, its evident that Tweetbot is the best out of them all. At the time this review was written, Ive only used it on my iPhone 6s so I cannot say how the app is on iPads or older devices. What this app delivers: -fast and responsive interface for the most part (Im using this on an iPhone 6s, and Ive only rarely seen some stutters after prolonged usage -full featured 3D Touch integration -built-in translation, I believe its powered by google translate and now the hilariously bad Bing one used by twitters own client -no IAP -no ads whatsoever on my TL!!! -smart topics feature, great for chaining together a bunch of tweets that are under the same idea -quick swipe actions on tweets -drafts saving -the most advanced muting technology since TweetDeck -tweet client identifier (so u can see when ur friend is lying when he tweets getting turnt up in the club and it says the tweet was sent from Twitter Web Client hahaha) -adaptive dark mode. Hallelujah! It can change the UI from light to dark depending on screen brightness -tweet streaming on wifi What this app doesnt have/known issues: -group DMs -insert images in DMs -the GIF reaction stuff that twitters own app has -ads -annoying as hell Moments feature that doesnt even scroll smoothly on an iPhone 6s -the ability to check the users that liked someone elses tweet, this is the most annoying thing to me since I can see who liked & RT my own tweets and when I try to check the stats on someone elses tweet it only shows who RTd, trying to see who liked takes u to Favstar??? -keyboard looks weird after u close drafts So whats my final verdict? A definite BUY if u think the disadvantages/issues I mentioned arent that much of a big deal. Otherwise its WAIT FOR SALE.
As Twitters mobile app has gotten worse and worse, Tweetbot has gotten better and better.
Fantastic update as always. Would like to be able to create a Filter Recipe to only show Verified Accounts or Non-Verified. Really missed the "media timeline" so Im happy its back, hope to see more Recipes soon. Keep it up.
"pin to top" stopped working since the last update
Its back!! With the media filter! Thank you!
